TigerSwan’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) – Monitoring and Reporting for Families

Understanding the location of people and assets that are important to our clients is just one of our core competencies. Through our proprietary geospatial platform and associated phone apps or third-party tracking sensors, our GSOC has global real-time awareness of the location of family members or employees around the clock.

In 2022 a distraught North Carolina client reached out the GSOC and reported that their 97-year-old grandfather had driven to a local store but had not returned after 5 hours. Quickly reviewing the client’s private client profile, the GSOC was immediately aware that the vehicle the elderly gentlemen was driving was equipped with a Hawkeye vehicle tracker. Within seconds the vehicle was located in South Carolina some 260 miles from the elderly gentlemen’s home.

While actively tracking the vehicles’ location in real-time, the GSOC reached out to South Carolina Law Enforcement agencies to coordinate a positive engagement to intercept and lend assistance to the elderly man.  In parallel, the GSOC was in constant communication with the family of the elderly gentlemen, providing locational data as they drove toward the location of the grandfather as well.  The South Carolina Highway Patrol was vectored to the location of the elderly gentlemen as he drove down a major highway at 45 mph and pulled him over to confirm that he was ok, and to directly him to a nearby gas station to await his family member’s arrival.  Disoriented, scared and totally unaware where he was or how long he had been driving lost, the elderly gentlemen was united with his family members and taken home.  What could have been a tragic event was remedied with the services and technology of our GSOC.
